Inspiration

@stoopandthecity is a famous account of a stoop in New York that customizes its entrance based on holidays or special occasions. For 2026, they designed a floral Valentine’s Day decoration that caught my eye.

The goal was to recreate that bold, playful, and highly photogenic aesthetic in a way that could be adapted specifically for pet photography.

Intagram Reel

Because reel video content tends to perform more effectively for event promotion, a reel was created to showcase the setup and generate audience engagement.

The reels also helped encourage bookings by giving viewers a clearer sense of the scale, styling, and photography experience before the event itself.

Intagram Carousel

A detailed Instagram carousel was created shortly before the event launch to communicate all relevant information in a visually cohesive format.

The layouts were intentionally designed to feel polished and shareable, helping the promotional content blend naturally into Instagram feeds while still standing out visually.

The Setup

The final setup translated the original inspiration into a clean and immersive Valentine’s Day photo environment tailored specifically for pets. The oversized bow became the main focal element of the composition, supported by floral arrangements and love letters that reinforced the romantic holiday theme.

Photo Results

Careful attention was given to spacing, lighting, and composition to ensure the setup photographed consistently well across different pet sizes and poses.

The bold colour palette and minimal styling allowed each pet to remain the center of attention while still reinforcing the overall Valentine’s Day concept.

Post-Event Social

Post-event content focused on extending the lifespan of the activation through recap reels and behind-the-scenes footage. The content strategy leaned into a more organic and visually driven approach, allowing the imagery itself to generate engagement naturally across social media platforms.

By combining polished photography with casual event footage, the campaign maintained a balance between aspirational visuals and approachable behind-the-scenes storytelling, helping strengthen audience connection and brand visibility after the event concluded.
